The Scientific Language in Brunei Becomes Turkish
Yunus Emre Institute is starting to offer face-to-face Turkish courses in the post-pandemic period for those who want to learn Turkish and meet Turkish culture during the pandemic period.
In cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bandar Seri Begawan and Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, face-to-face Turkish courses were organized for academics at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) following the first face-to-face Turkish courses held at the Embassy compound in Brunei.
Under the leadership of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bandar Seri Begawan, a cooperation protocol was signed between Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center and Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University. Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bandar Seri Begawan Prof. Dr. Hamit Ersoy, and Rector of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University Dr. Hj Norarfan, were present at the signing ceremony.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bandar Seri Begawan Prof. Dr. Hamit Ersoy, said about the face-to-face Turkish courses in Brunei: "UNISSA University was the first university in Brunei Darussalam to request and request for the organization of Turkish courses. On this occasion, we gladly accepted the University's request to allocate classrooms for the organization of Turkish language courses. In this regard, we are ready for similar collaborations with other universities if they allocate space for the organization of Turkish courses within their bodies."
The Turkish courses, which are prepared by the Institute's expert staff in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language with teaching sets and materials consisting of rich content, will continue for 6 months.

Through its activities in the field of Turkish language teaching around the world, Yunus Emre Institute is increasing the number of people who have established lasting ties with Turkey and who are friendly to Turkey day by day.
Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center continues its efforts to move the online Turkish courses it organizes in countries where there are no Cultural Centers in Asia, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam, to the physical environment.
