A Short Journey to Turkish Music Concert in Austria
In cooperation with Vienna Yunus Emre Institute and Turkish Consulate General in Salzburg, a concert titled “A Short Journey to Turkish Music” was held in Austria’s art city, Salzburg.
Many people attended to the program including Turkish Consul General in Salzburg, Günay Babadoğan Ertan, Vienna Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Ayşe Yorulmaz, music lovers and guests.
In the program held on October 5th, 2023, hosted by the exhibition hall named Stadtgalerie Lehen in Salzburg, Yeden Music Group took the stage and offered an unforgettable musical feast to the guests.
In her speech before the concert, expressing her gratitude to the Turkish Consulate General in Salzburg and the Municipality of Salzburg who contributed to the organization of the concert, Vienna Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Ayşe Yorulmaz, stated that it will be an event that will leave a mark on the memories of the audience with the selection of works from different periods of Turkish music performed by the Yeden Music Group.
In the continuation of her speech, Coordinator Yorulmaz made the following assessment: “Turkish music will be a new discovery for those who listen to Western music due to its structural features and sound systems.”
Following the opening speech of the Vienna Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator, a greeting speech was made by Günay Babadoğan Ertan, Turkish Consul General in Salzburg.
In the program, which attracted intense interest from music lovers, delicacies from Turkish cuisine were served to the guests after the concert.
