Turkish Certificates Presented to Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Yunus Emre Institute continues to carry out Turkish language teaching activities for different professional groups interested in Turkish language and culture around the world.

A certificate ceremony was organized for members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSBIH) who successfully completed the Turkish language course.

At a ceremony held on December 22, 2022 at Rajlovac Barracks in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nearly 20 soldiers who completed the course were presented their Turkish certificates.

The certificate ceremony was attended by Military Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sarajevo Colonel Mustafa Sıtkı Tatar, Sarajevo Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Mehmet Akif Yaman, members of the Turkish Armed Forces serving in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the European Union Peacekeeping Force (EUFOR) and NATO, representatives of Turkish institutions and OSBIH officials.

Military Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sarajevo Colonel Mustafa Sıtkı Tatar stated that the course activities ad started in 2020 with the support of the Presidency of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and thanked the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for supporting the Turkish language course, which continues with the contributions of the Sarajevo Yunus Emre Institute, and the Culture and Promotion Counsellor's Office and Education Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sarajevo.

Commander of the Center for Professional Development of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Colonel Hazrudin Hasagiç stated that the center aims to provide the necessary conditions for better quality training for soldiers and emphasized that the it serves in much better conditions thanks to the support of Turkish institutions.
