Yunus Emre Enstitüsü 2016 Turkish Summer School Begins

Turkish Summer School organised by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü every year, will be held in Turkey between July 25 and August 28 2016.

Turkish Summer School, essentially a follow-up of Turkish instruction abroad that aims to carry out the process by supporting it with activities which promote and introduce Turkey, will be enriched with events as Turkish course, activities to promote Turkish culture and art, sightseeing and introductory activities, social activities etc.

Turkish Summer School Programs will come to life with attendance of Yunus Emre Enstitüs that are active abroad and with guest from various countries who study in Turcology departments.

In this organisation where communication language is Turkish, students will both get the chance to receive Turkish instruction and see the major historic and tourist buildings in the cities they visit.

Turkish Summer School coordinated by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü will be organised with participation of universities that provide education in various Turkish cities. Students in groups will be hosted by universities in various cities in Turkey for a period between 30-45 days. Students who will receive intense Turkish instruction throughout this period will visit the regions in vicinity and get the chance to learn Turkish on location and get acquainted with Turkish culture. Guests who will get together in Istanbul at the end of the program will return to their home-countries following “Turkish Festival” event.

This year 540 people from 46 countries are expected to attend to Turkish Summer School. 2016 Turkish Summer School will be held in 16 cities and 20 universities.
