Yunus Emre Institute Deemed Worthy of the "Turkish World Award"

Yunus Emre Institute, Turkey's leading cultural diplomacy institution, which promotes Türkiye's cultural heritage with all its riches through thousands of activities, was deemed worthy of the "Turkish World Award". The award was presented to the President of the Institute Professor  Şeref Ateş on behalf of Yunus Emre Institute. 

"3rd Journalists' Council" held in Alanya with the participation of 250 journalists from more than 30 countries. A gala night and Global Achievement Awards ceremony were held within the scope of the program called "Global Media Meeting".

"Global Achievement Awards" found their owners at the ceremony hosted by Lonicera World Hotel, with the presentation of Television Journalist and KGK Deputy Secretary General Benan Kepsutlu. Nearly 600 people including Yunus Emre Institute President Professor Şeref Ateş, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Rector Professor Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, important names from the media and politics world, guests and members of the press attended the ceremony. 

Yunus Emre Institute, which promotes Türkiye's cultural heritage with all its richness through thousands of activities carried out in the national and international arena, was deemed worthy of the "Turkish World Award". The award was presented by EKOTÜRK TV Chairman of the Board Cengiz Özdemir to Yunus Emre Institute President Professor Şeref Ateş.

Making his speech after the promotional film of the Institute was shown Yunus Emre Institute President Professor Şeref Ateş made the following evaluations:  “I am proud to represent our Institute, which was deemed worthy of the Turkish World Award, at the Global Media Award Ceremony organized by the Global Journalists Council. We currently introduce Yunus Emre's thoughts, Turkish culture and Turkish language to the world with our more than 80 representative offices in more than 60 countries. On the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we will continue to convey Yunus' greetings to the whole world, increase the number of friends who establish ties with our country, and weave the world with cultural networks."
