Yunus Emre Institute Signed A Cooperation Protocol with Archers Foundation

Yunus Emre Institute and Archers Foundation signed a cooperation protocol within the scope of Kemankeş Project. The aim of the project to be realized to introduce Turkish archery to the world, is to strengthen the friendship and cultural ties between the countries.

The signing ceremony held in Yunus Emre Institute headquarters in Ankara, was attended by Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş, Archers Foundation Chairman Haydar Ali Yıldız, Archers Foundation Board Member Mehmet Erdoğan and related parties.

The protocol signed within the scope of Kemankeş project will be carried out in 16 countries in its first year. The project that aims to introduce Turkish archery to the world as well as bringing new athletes to the sport, will begin with training of athletes from Yunus Emre Institute centres in Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Morocco, Palestine, Iran, Japan, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Lebanon, Malaysia, Egypt, Poland, Serbia, Sudan and Jordan.

The project will take place in Istanbul between November 27 and December 4, 2017.
