A message from our President.

Abdurrahman ALİY - Institute Director

Established in 2009 as a growing global brand representing a rising Turkey, we have expanded from our first overseas office to our current network of 95 offices across 71 countries. Guided by our mission to enhance Turkey’s international visibility, reliability and reputation, and our vision to forge connections with Turkey and increase the number of people who are friends of Turkey worldwide, we continue to build bridges across the globe.

As we tell Turkey’s story across the seven climes, establishing a foundation to enhance dialogue between the Turkish nation and other nations has always been among our priorities. In this vein, guided by the understanding that ‘horizons are not distant’, we have established—and continue to establish—lasting bonds through our representative offices in various regions, with the aim of reaching even the remotest corners of the world.

Under the motto “From a Turkey woven with iron rails to a Turkey weaving the world with cultural networks in its 100th year”, through the activities we carried out to mark the 100th anniversary of the Republic, we introduced Turkey, the rich cultural heritage of Anatolia, and the Turkish language, culture and arts to the world. Moving forward, guided by the principle of “Let us come together and get to know one another”—a sentiment that most succinctly expresses Yunus’s worldview—we will continue our efforts to foster friendship between Turkey and other nations and to enhance cultural exchange.

With my warmest regards,
