The calligraphy exhibition themed as the "Harmony of the Pen" has been opened in Cologne, Germany.

During the exhibition hosted by Yunus Emre Institute's Cologne Branch, 48 calligraphic works by the Institute's calligraphy course instruction Murad Kahraman and his students were presented to the taste of art lovers.

Delivering a speech during the program, calligrapher Kahraman said that he "learns in order to live and lives to learn" and they are inspired by design and social values in performing this art.

Noting that he has attended various exhibitions and seminars in Cologne and other cities in Germany and in other European countries in order to promote the art of calligraphy, Kahraman called on everyone who has any interest in this art to attend the ongoing courses in Cologne.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until August 28.
