Mansur Bildik, a saz teacher in Vienna, has published a book containing practical information on how to play saz (bağlama), a traditional Turkish musical instrument, targeting both Turkish and foreign students.

During the event held on June 12, 2019 with the attendance of Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Ümit Yardım and Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to Vienna Asip Kaya, the book entitled "Bağlama Metodu" (Saz Method), penned down in Turkish, English and German by Bildik, who has been living in Vienna and teaching many people how to play the saz, was promoted.

Delivering a keynote speech during the event, Bildik said: "The saz is the modern version of the kopuz which Turks brought to Anatolia during their great migration. Since its arrival from Central Asia, it has been improved significantly. The book 'Saz Method' will offer great conveniences for anyone who seeks to learn how to play this instrument."

Yunus Emre Institute's Vienna Branch Deputy Director İbrahim Doğan gave a speech stressing that Bildik is one of Turkey's cultural ambassadors. Noting that Bildik had been decorated with the gold order of merit by the state of Vienna in 2008 for his achievements during the last 30 years, Doğan indicated that his success was confirmed with the Peace Ambassador award given by the World Peace Federation on behalf of the United Nations in 2009. Doğan added that the Institute has always lent support and will continue to lend support to the people who contribute to Turkish culture in Europe like Bildik.

Following the book promotion hosted by Yunus Emre Institute's Vienna Branch, Bildik gave a concert with his students Abdullah Dikeç and Martin Diamant. During the concert, he showcased different song forms and was accompanied by the audience in many songs.
