Kadir Çöpdemir to Meet Hungarian Audience

The Guest of Honor of the 2nd Turkish Film Week to be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, will be the Turkish actor, producer and programmer Kadir Çöpdemir.

The Film Week will be hosted at Sugár Mozi Movie Theater between November 21 and 27, 2019, and Çöpdemir will give interviews on Turkish cinema and answer questions from moviegoers on Saturday 23rd November. 

The Budapest Turkish Films Week, organized by Yunus Emre Institute in cooperation with the Directorate General of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and Sugár Mozi Movie Theater will start with "Organize İşler 2" (Magic Carpet Ride 2), directed by Yılmaz Erdoğan on November 21, 2019. The event will feature films from difference genres including historical, drama, action, romantic and comedy, and; Hungarian moviegoers will be able to see "Annemin Yarası" (My Mother's Wound) on November 22, "Kuklalı Köşk: Hırsız Var" on November 23, "Rafadan Tayfa Dehliz Macerası" (Rafadan Tayfa: Gallery Adventure) on November 24, "Hokkabaz" (The Magician) on November 25, "Dedemin İnsanları" (My Grandfather's People) on November 26 and "Tatlım Tatlım" on November 27.

Under the Turkish Film Week project, Yunus Emre Institute has brought together veteran actors, actresses, directors and producers of Turkish cinema with moviegoers in many countries around the world. It will next be held in Rome, Rabat, Vienna, Jerusalem, and Sarajevo.
