The "The Secret Trio: Anatolian Music" concert, organized by Washington Yunus Emre Institute, has brought Anatolian tunes to art lovers in the US.

With Armenian oud player Ara Dinkjian, qanun player Tamer Pınarbaşı and Balkan music's clarinet virtuoso İsmail Lumanovski as its members, "The Secret Trio" has given a concert in Washington.

The event drew a huge crowd of music fans as well as representatives of many foreign missions.

Following the concert, oud player Dinkjian indicated that they hope to use their music to convey a message of unity and solidarity to the audience. "Music paved the way for our coming together and we saw our similarities. We had differences, but we didn't perceive them as a threat, but turned them into a means for celebration," he said.

Qanun player Pınarbaşı stated that he was extremely happy to be in Washington. "The Secret Trio is a group that always represents fraternity and friendship," he said.

Clarinet player Lumanovski underlined that they have been working together for 10 years. "We brought our music into the mix and that's how it started. Everyone has different ideas and we take music from different cultures and mix them. The result is fantastic music," he said.
