Drawing attention to the work of search and rescue teams from Azerbaijan in Türkiye, Kerimi stated:

"Rescue teams, doctors and volunteers are sent to Türkiye on the instructions of our President. We wanted to convey our deep sorrow over the devastating earthquake to you through our art."

In his video, Kamancha artist Toghrul Asadullayev stated, "Dear brothers and sisters, dear Turkish nation, this earthquake shook us to our very core. Your pain is our pain, your grief is our grief. We are always close, tight as a fist. Our hearts beat as one, our hearts are with you."

Mr. Asadullayev stated that his family followed the events in the disaster zone on social media and television with great sadness and said,

"WE ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU"

Asadullayev emphasized that Azerbaijani state artists commemorated those who lost their lives in the earthquake with laments and performed the song "Berivan". MOURNING ALL OVER AZERBAIJAN

Pianist Elvin Feridli expressed his sadness, "The pain of our Turkish brothers and sisters is our pain. The events in Türkiye have shaken us to our core. Your pain is our pain. I wish Allah's mercy to the dead, Allah's patience to their relatives and a speedy recovery to the injured. We must always support each other through thick and thin. When I sang my song, I felt as if I was there with them and experienced their pain. It hurt me deeply.”

Azerbaijani folk singer Mansum Ibrahimov stated that the earthquake deeply affected everyone in Azerbaijan and said: "As an artist, I and my friends share Türkiye’s pain. All our hearts beat with Türkiye these days. We are one heart, one soul, two states but one nation. There is mourning all over Azerbaijan."

Ibrahimov emphasized that everyone in Azerbaijan is ready to go to Türkiye for help:

"The Turkish nation is a great nation. It shall soon leave this disaster behind. Just as we liberated our Karabakh from the enemy, we will come out of this situation as one closed fist. May Allah bless Türkiye. Your pain is our pain. Our prayers are always with you. My condolences, Türkiye, wipe your tears. Azerbaijan is with you always and forever."

"THE PEOPLE OF AZERBAIJAN HAVE FORMED A GREAT CHAIN"

Baku Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Selçuk Karakılıç pointed out that the earthquake caused great sorrow among the people of Azerbaijan.

“SOME GAVE THEIR BEDS AND MATTRESSES, SOME GAVE THE COATS ON THEIR BACKS”

Coordinator Selçuk Karakılıç said, "History has repeated itself again. When Türkiye was shaken by the disaster of the century, the people of Azerbaijan stepped up and united as one for Türkiye. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the entire Azerbaijani people formed a great chain and supported Türkiye in its most difficult day. Some gave their beds and mattresses, some gave the coats on their backs, some gave the heaters in their own homes. It was, of course, brother helping brother in unshakable faith. What happened in Azerbaijan in a week is a true story that could be the subject of several movies and novels. Some of these stories were written by Azerbaijani artists."

AZERBAIJANI ARTISTS SUPPORT THE TURKISH PEOPLE BY CREATING WORKS IN THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF ART

Karakılıç also mentioned the artists who interpreted his works to support Türkiye and said: "The lament composed by Siyavuş Kerimi, the Rector of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, and read by Zabite Aliyeva is another story. Siyavuş Kerimi, who felt the impact of the earthquake in his heart, says: ‘Azerbaijan is with you in all your troubles, your brothers and sisters feel your pain.’ Just as Türkiye has been concerned about Azerbaijan's troubles, Azerbaijan has also been consumed by Türkiye's troubles, and pain has fallen on their hearts. Great Azerbaijani artists Nezaket Teymurova, Gülyanak Memmadova, Mansum Ibrahimov, Elvin Feridli and Toghrul Asadullayev tried to keep the morale of the Turkish people alive with their works and messages. Azerbaijani artists, who work in the universal language of art, undoubtedly continue to support the Turkish people through various channels."
