Touching on the difficulties experienced during the founding years of the Republic, Ambassador Kırlangıç used the following expressions:

“Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades entrusted us with the Republic and the future. Our duty is to move this country forward. As the Republic of Türkiye enters its centenary, we also realize the Turkish Century."

Tehran Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator İbrahim Furkan Özdemir stated that Yunus Emre Institute organized various programs to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic in different geographies of the world.

"At the event, we had the opportunity to exhibit the historical Ankara photographs we obtained from Anadolu Agency and the photographs of important buildings built in the first period of the Republic," Coordinator Özdemir said.

In his speech, expressing his satisfaction for hosting such a meaningful program on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Türkiye, "One of the missions of the Economic Cooperation Organization Cultural Institute, which is an international cultural institution, is to strengthen cultural interaction, particularly to focus on the fields of culture, art and literature," ECO Cultural Institute Iran Representative Selman Rustemi said.

"On the occasion of this exhibition, we would like to thank all our comrades, especially the founder of our Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all our statesmen, bureaucrats, industrialists, businessmen and citizens who served our country throughout our century-old Republic and made efforts for the development of our country. I commemorate our citizens with respect and gratitude on the occasion of the centennial of our Republic,” said Ali Özgündüz, a member of the Supervisory Board of Yunus Emre Institute.
