International Turcologists Visited METU Teknokent

International Turcologists who visited Turkey to participate in the " Teaching Turkish to Foreigners Certification Program" as part of Turkish Summer School organized by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü every year, visited METU Teknokent.

International Turcologists who visited METU Teknokent within the scope of Scientific Diplomacy Studies carried out by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, both got the chance to receive information about Teknokent initiatives and learn about various technological developments in METU Technokent.

In the visit, international Turcologists who take great interest in the games developed by METU Technokent observed how games are developed in the workshop participated by incubation initiatives in the final stage of the program.

The Program Continues with its Rich Content

In addition to Turcologists determined by Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Centres abroad, the program is participated by prospective teachers studying in Turcology Departments supported by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü abroad and Turcologists who study for master's or doctoral degrees in Turkish Teaching or Turkish Language and Literature departments in Turkey on the scholarship offered by Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities. Participants from Egypt, Algeria, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Austria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Afghanistan, TRNC and Syria, will receive theoretical and practical training for 4 weeks and will attend in various cultural activities. In addition to the seminars to be given by instructors and academicians specialized in the field, participants will intern at Hacettepe University HU TÖMER, and within the scope of this internship, they will follow the Turkish lessons to be given to Turkish Summer School student group in Turkey under Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Turkish Summer School. Following the training program to end on August 11th, 2017, the participants will participate in Ankara and Istanbul excursions organized as part of 2017 Summer School, until August 20th 2017.
