Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, Visites Yunus Emre Institute in Indonesia 

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, visited Indonesia's Jakarta Yunus Emre Institute to attend the MIKTA 9th Assembly Speakers Meeting.

Meeting with Institute trainees and Turkish graduate students at Jakarta Yunus Emre Institute, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş made the following statements in his speech:

“It is a great pleasure for me to be here with you today, in a wonderful home of education and culture. May the Institute's representation in Jakarta be beneficial and lead to good work. I hope that our institute will help many of our friends and young people like you learn our beautiful Turkish.

“One of Türkiye's important soft powers is Yunus Emre Institute”

In his speech, Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, touched upon the mission of Yunus Emre Institute in his speech made the following assessments:  "One of the important soft powers of Turkey is Yunus Emre Institute. It has many foundations, especially the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities ( YTB), with the Turkish Maarif Foundation, we have the opportunity to communicate with our friends and brothers all over the world. If there are heirlooms from our ancestors, we work to rebuild them. We try to revitalize them and present them to the service of humanity. In this context, our Yunus Emre Institute has been in Türkiye in recent years. It is one of the most important foreign policy forces. As you know, foreign policy is now getting stronger, especially with intensive activities in the field of cultural diplomacy. In addition to some activities carried out officially through the embassies or representatives of the countries, good services such as the promotion of Turkish culture and Turkish are also provided through the Yunus Emre Institute. "
