The third "Turkish Cuisine Workshop" organized by Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute to meet the intense interest in Turkish cuisine in Romania was held.

Ambassadors residing in Romania and their spouses were introduced to the flavors of Turkish cuisine at the gastronomy event hosted by Dr. Aslı Altan, the wife of Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Bucharest Özgür Kıvanç Altan, and Romanian Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Mustafa Yıldız.

Ambassadors of Ecuador, Denmark, Colombia, Iran, Lebanon, France, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Iraq, Syria, Italy, Venezuela and Chile, ambassadors' spouses, diplomatic corps, military attaché spouses and International Women's Association (IWA) members attended the workshop.

In the workshop, which was held under the instruction of Chef Remziye Asan, firstly, information was given about the preparation of ezogelin soup, and then the soup was made with the participants.

In the continuation of the workshop, information was given about the preparation of “hünkar beğendi”, one of the most well-known delicacies of the Ottoman palace cuisine, and the preparation work for the dish started. As appetizers, paste and salad, which were on the menu, were prepared.

Participants in the workshop could not hide their admiration for the history of the dishes, their preparation, and the variety of ingredients used. As a result of outstanding efforts, each participant cooked the food they made with their own skills in a controlled manner. Chief Asan examined each trainee's work one by one. While the smell of food filled the kitchen, Turkish coffee and tea were served to the participants.

In the dessert preparation section of the workshop, participants started making rice pudding, one of the delicacies of the Ottoman palace cuisine. The desserts were given their final shape with decorations, which continued with deep conversations.

Ambassador Dr. Aslı Altan and Coordinator Mustafa Yıldız gave information about the dishes to the participants and the story of each dish was told.

"Turkish Cuisine Workshop", where the unique elements of Türkiye's culinary culture were introduced, especially the preparation of thousands of years old flavors of Turkish cuisine and conversations about gastronomy, ended with the presentation of documents to the participants.
