Yunus Emre Institute, Türkiye's cultural diplomacy actor, which carries the ancient Turkish culture to different continents of the world with its unique activities, organized a training program called "Türkiye's Cultural Diplomacy" for future French diplomats.

Approximately 40 people attended the program organized for graduate students of the Free Institute for the Study of International Relations and Political Sciences (ILERI), which provides education to hundreds of students every year in Paris and Lyon, France.

French students who came together at Yunus Emre Institute in Paris expressed that they wished to get to know Türkiye closely due to its geopolitical location connecting Asia and Europe, its tourism potential, its deep-rooted history, its ancient cultural heritage and similar elements.

In the training program, the lecture given by ILERI Lecturer Dr.  Pierre Raffard on Turkish culture and Türkiye's socio-political structure was followed with interest by the students.

Within the scope of the training program, seminars on important names of Turkish literature who were in France in the past, A visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Paris and various similar cultural events will be organized.

It is planned to create a basis for cultural interaction between Türkiye and France through the program.

The training program, which will be held for two semesters, 4 hours each week, hosted by Paris Yunus Emre Institute, will continue in 2024.

They Will Discover Turkish Culture On-Site

Yunus Emre Institute plans to organize cultural trips in Turkey for French students to get to know Turkish culture closely and with all its richness, from archeology to architecture, from gastronomy to music.
