2017 Turkish Summer School “My Route Turkey” Contest Took Start!

Social media contest to be organized with the title “My Route Turkey” as part of Turkish Summer School held by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü every year, awaits its participants. 2017 Turkish Summer School students will experience the thrill of competition by sharing what they saw in Turkey under photography, video and article categories.

ENRTY RULES:

1. Only students of 2017 Turkish Summer School organized by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü can enter the contest.

2. Participation in the contest is free of charge.

3. Each participant may enter the contest with no more than 2 (two) digital colour or black-white photographs, videos or articles.

4. Owners of award-winning works are required to document that they are students.

5. Works that serve political purposes, contain inconvenient and harmful expressions, do not comply with general morals, contain insults and feature company titles for any purpose will be disqualified.

6. It is required to like and / or follow Yunus Emre Enstitüsü social media accounts to enter the contest (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/yeeorgtr, Twitter: https://twitter.com/yeeorgtr, Instagram: https: // Instagram.com/yeeorgtr).

7. It is obligatory to share the works (photographs, videos and articles) that will enter the contest on social media accounts with #RotamTurkiye hashtag and to tag Yunus Emre Enstitüsü @yeeorgtr account.

8. Photographs and videos should be taken during the Turkish Summer School. Otherwise, it is a violation of rules.

9. Photographs and videos that received awards previously or in any contest held simultaneously with this contest, works created by using different framing and/ or editing, or by changing colours cannot enter the contest. Otherwise, it is considered a violation of rules. Works can be submitted whether or not they have been published.

10. Simple manipulations on photographs and videos such as altering colour, sharpness and dusting; contrast adjustment, and minor photographic manipulations are accepted. In this subject, jury's opinion is taken as basis.

11. The participant acknowledges, declares and guarantees holding all rights of the works submitted and uploaded to the website for the contest, and that all permissions have been obtained.

12. People who manipulate the works submitted to the contest, claiming the rights to a work not owned by them and make all kinds of manipulations and alterations to mislead the evaluation board, people who enter the contest with an award-winning work or with a work that employs these as main elements although submitting awarded photographs, videos and articles are restricted, commit violation of rules.

13. All submitted works must be created by the participant. Participant violates the rules when the images and articles by someone else, are partially used.

14. Anyone who enters the competition accepts the rules in advance by reading and understanding the terms and conditions.

15. The award granted to someone who violated the rules is revoked as well as prizes, titles and achievements.

16. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü holds the right to cancel the contest, change its terms, and change the jury members at any time without prior notice or announcement. In this case the competitors can not claim any rights.

17. Turkish Summer School students can enter the contest until August 18th, 2017,  6 P.M.
