8th Peja Book Fair Held

The 8th Peja Book Fair was organized with the collaboration of Peja Municipality in Kosovo and Peja Yunus Emre Institute. An autograph session was held at the fair for Zeki Bulduk's "Kayıplar Kosova" book which was translated into Albanian.

 

The 8th Peja Book Fair hosted booklovers in Peja city of Kosovo.

Publishers from Macedon, Albania, Kosova and Turkey participated in the fair that was organized on June 11-16, 2021 at the Peja Square through the collaboration of Peja Municipality, Azem Shkreli Library and Peja Yunus Emre Institute.

The guest of honor for this year's fair was the guest of Yunus Emre Institute Zeki Bulduk. The author attended the launch of his book "Kayıplar Kosova", which discusses the bitter experiences of the refugees during the Kosovo War of 1999, and autographed his readers' books.

At the end of the event, President of the Peja Municipality Gazmend Muhaxheri, Republic of Turkey's Ambassador to Pristina Çağrı Sakar, President of the Kosova Turkish Delegation Colonel Yunus Emre Işıkoğlu, Yunus Emre Institute Director Mehmet Ülker, TIKA Kosovo Coordinator Cihan Dinçer, Peja Municipality Director of Youth, Culture and Sports Xhenet Syka Kelmendi, Director of the Azem Shkreli Library Shengyl Kelmendi Gashi, representatives of publishers and media members met at the consultation dinner.   

It is possible to find the works of Turkish authors that are translated into Albanian at the event.
