"The Çanakkale Victory once again showed the struggle and noble spirit of our nation to the whole world, and, to put it in the concise words of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the Poet of our National Anthem, it protected the independence and future that are our nation's right."

Abuja YEI Coordinator Musa Erbaş stated that the spirit of Çanakkale is the symbol of the Turkish nation's struggle for existence.

Also in the program, Turkish Religious Foundation Abuja Religious Services Advisor Hüseyin Ortaç read the Quran and prayers for all the martyrs. In the program where a video was shown, the National Anthem was read by Nigerian children and then the exhibition was opened.
