From Constantinople to Istanbul: Bosporus Photographs from mid-19th Century to 20th Century

As part of Turkey-Serbia Intercultural Art Dialogs Project, the exhibition From Constantinople to Istanbul: Bosporus Photographs from mid-19th Century to 20th Century supported also by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, will be opened.

The ties between Turkey and Serbia get stronger each day thanks to rooted common culture and activities held. This important exhibition is realized to remind the ties established from past to our day to the younger generations and to share this background with them.

Curated by M. Sinan Genim, compiled from Suna ve İnan Kıraç Foundation Photography Collection and featuring works by photography masters who started working in Istanbul around mid-19th century,  From Constantinople to Istanbul: Bosporus Photographs from mid-19th Century to 20th Century exhibition reveals the Istanbul of a period with its impressive buildings, daily life and interesting characters.
