In the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, the two countries signed agreements and cooperation protocols in 5 fields.

One of these is the cooperation protocol between the Yunus Emre Institute and the University of Bahrain to strengthen the cultural diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The protocol was signed by Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş and Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
