Kids from different nationalities living in London have come together to draw attention to the ongoing civil war and hunger in Yemen.

In the painting workshop, jointly organized by Yunus Emre Institute and the Arts for Global Good, consisting of young painters, the children have painted peace they dreamed of for Yemen. The workshop was held as part of the art project led by Yunus Emre Institute's London Branch on Saturday, July 13 under the supervision of journalist and painter Dilek Yalçın.

According to a report by the International Observatory of Human Rights, a Yemeni kid dies for every 10 minutes due to hunger attributable to the ongoing war in Yemen since 2015. The workshop aims to put the spotlight on the situation of Yemeni children and take the matter to the agenda of mainstream media outlets.
