Organized for the third time in cooperation with the Yunus Emre Institute and TRT in Tirana, the capital of Albania, the Media Academy started with the first lesson on "Digital News".

Within the scope of the 10-day training, which will be held on June 6-17, training is given by TRT trainers on different topics such as digital news and social media.

Approximately 25 people, including media professionals in Albania and students from different departments, participate in the online Media Academy.

“MEDIA IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST POWERS TODAY’’

In his speech, Tirana Yunus Emre Institute Director Ömer Osman Demirbaş stated that they were in good cooperation with TRT and emphasized that many people attended the previous training, and he believed that the participants were satisfied with the information they received.

Demirbaş said, “Media is one of the biggest powers today. We try to bring in the best experts in this field, and TRT is one of our best collaborators. Participants of the Media Academy will benefit from TRT's great experience in the field of media. I believe this cooperation will further strengthen the relations between Albania and Turkey.

SOCIAL MEDIA WILL BE DISCUSSED

TRT representative Ubeydullah Yener also said that they would focus on the main social media issues in the training they would organize.

Underlining that the said training would further deepen the cooperation between the two countries, Yener said, "I am delighted to continue our cooperation with Tirana Yunus Emre Institute. Nowadays, a person who is an expert in the field of media should also have very good knowledge in the field of social media.’’
