Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu Visited Budapest Yunus Emre Enstitüsü

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Board of Trustees Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accepted the invitation of Hungary Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, and also visited Budapest Yunus Emre Enstitüsü during his trip to Hungary on 8-9 February 2016. Çavuşoğlu examined Enstitü on site, and was informed on the activities and language courses by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Director Yakup Gül. Signing the journal, Çavuşoğlu stated that he is glad that  the historic building on the most prestigious avenue of Budapest serves as a Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and contributes to the long-standing friendship between Turkey and Hungary. Çavuşoğlu congratulated the Enstitü personnel for their “sublime efforts” in his own words.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu who had a private meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Szijjártó, co-chaired the committee meetings with his Hungarian counterpart. The agenda of the meetings in which bilateral relations were discussed in detail, was the activities planned to be held in Szigetvar for the 450th death anniversary of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.
