The new semester of the Turkish language courses, which had been launched by Yunus Emre Institute's London Branch at Cambridge University's Language Center in 2017, kicked off on October 17.

The courses are open to all students and academics at the university as well as to the general public. In the academic year 2019-2020, 10 students at undergraduate and graduate levels from different departments such as archaeology, history, international relations and geography will attend the courses.

The courses use educational materials such as Yedi İklim (Seven Climates) Turkish Sets as well as  Z-Kitap (Enriched Book) application, developed taking into consideration the levels and basic living areas given in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and will end on March 5 after a program of 15 weeks.  The courses will be given by Dr. Kübra Yıldırım Khan for two semesters according to the university's academic calendar and will feature various activities such as film screening and additional speaking lessons.
