In the live broadcast event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kutlay performed Mediciye Marşı (March of Abdülmecid), composed by Guiseppe Donizetti, and Aziziye Marşı (March of Abdülaziz), Osmaniye Marşı (March of Ottoman) and Osmanlı Sergi Marşı (March of Ottoman Exhibition), composed by Callisto Guatelli, and Reşadiye Marşı (March of Mehmed Reşad), composed by Italo Selvelli.

The marches sampled by Kutlay blend eastern and western music and signify the importance attached to music by the Ottoman palace and are unique in terms of the eastern and western interaction in music.
