Support from TABIP to “National Technology Move”

Academic and Scientific Cooperation of Turkey (TABİP) carried out by Yunus Emre Institute under the auspices of Presidency of Republic of Turkey sponsored the biggest technology festival of Turkey, “Teknofest”, which was held between 17-22 September and whose subject was “National Technology Move” this year.

“TABIP Planetarium” which was demonstrated by TABİP addressing the “science diplomacy” in Turkey and carried out by Yunus Emre Institute and will be used in “Mardin Science Class” project in the future attracted great attention from the visitors of Teknofest 2019 which passed into history as the most crowded technology festival with over 1 million 700 thousand participants.

The Head of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş, who participated as speaker into the “Congress of Turkish Scientist Abroad” which was held with the collaboration of TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and TUBA (Turkish Academy of Sciences) shared the concepts of “TABIP and Science Diplomacy” with the participants.

“TABIP Planetarium” which started its journey with Teknofest will visit various countries in the world after the tour in Turkey to help people understand the universe in which we live.
