In cooperation with Yunus Emre Institute and Prizren Traditional Archery Club, "3rd Traditional Turkish Archery Kosovo Cup Competition" was held in the city of Prizren in the southwest of Kosovo.

Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Ramazan Yılmaz, club representatives and sports fans attended the "3rd. Kosovo Traditional Turkish Archery Kosovo Cup Competition".

“Our ancestral sport, archery, is not only a difficult sport, but also provides balance, motivation and self-confidence in athletes. It is truly a matter of pride that our children, who are in their developmental age, have set their heart on this sport at an early age," Yılmaz said.

After the competition, certificates and cups were presented to approximately 100 athletes from various cities of Kosovo.

To date, more than 1000 athletes have benefited from the "Traditional Turkish Archery" courses launched in 2020 in the cities of Pristina, Prizren, Ipek and Mamusha in Kosovo.

In 2024 Kosovo will host the " "4th Balkan Archery Tournament".
