Turkish Courses For Mauritanian Soldiers

Yunus Emre Institute has launched Turkish training courses in cooperation with Bartın University for the military officers, non-commissioned officers and private soldiers serving at the National Gendarmerie General Command of Mauritania.

The Turkish language courses given by Dr. Hüseyin Demir, a faculty member from Bartın University, are attended by 18 military officers, non-commissioned officers and private soldiers serving at the National Gendarmerie General Command of Mauritania with a view to strengthening the education and training infrastructure of the Command.

In addition to the Turkish language courses, which were launched on December 23, 2019 and which will run for 8 months, the soldiers are also given training on the close ties between the two countries, interpersonal communication and leadership.
