Turkish Delight and Cologne Conference in Constanta

A conference titled “Turkish Delight and Cologne in Turkish Culture” was held by the Yunus Emre Institute in Constanta on the occasion of the Romanian Turkish Language Day on June 5.

The Turkish Inspector of the Constanza Provincial Education Chief Inspectorship İcbal Anefi, Turkish teachers working in Dobrudja region, and people from Constanta attended the conference. At the conference given by Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Teaching Department President Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu, the adventure of Turkish delight and cologne from the past to the present was explained. Kartallıoğlu, who gave information on the etymological analysis of Turkish delight and cologne at the conference, which aroused great interest, ended his speech with poems.

After the conference, the audience, who tasted various kinds of Turkish delight and had the opportunity to try colognes with different scents, expressed their satisfaction. The event ended with souvenir photos and good wishes.
