Yunus Emre Institute aims to carry the "Tanışkan Project", which integrates educational diplomacy into digital diplomacy activities, further in 2023.

Developed by the Institute in 2022 to bring Turkish, artificial intelligence and art together, the Tanışkan Project plays an important role in integrating technological developments into Turkish language teaching and charting new horizons in many regions by opening up to the world in the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.

As part of the project, which brings education diplomacy and digital diplomacy activities together, Turkish digital art content continues to be produced worldwide through artificial intelligence and NFT technologies.

THE FIRST TECHNOLOGY STOP IN 2023 IS THE NETHERLANDS

The first stop of the Tanışkan Project, which is planned to be realized in different countries after Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, in 2023.

Children and adults interested in Turkish and technology participated in the workshops held at Corendon Village Hotel on January 14-15, 2023.

CHILDREN PRACTICE TURKISH TO PREPARE FOR WORKSHOPS

Amsterdam Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Adil Akaltun stated that their primary goal was to introduce artificial intelligence to children living in Europe and to bring them together with the works of Yunus.

Coordinator Akaltun said the following about the Tanışkan Project: "Children in the Netherlands practice Turkish skills with their families to prepare for these workshops and improve their Turkish. We attach great importance to preparing our children for this multicultural environment by learning artificial intelligence in a city like Amsterdam, where many people from different cultures live together and where art is very important."

Tanışkan Project Trainer Bager Akbay stated: "Tanışkan Project consists of workshops on meeting and communicating with artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence will seriously affect all our production processes in the future. This is why we include young people in our experiments. We will continue to organize workshops in different countries around the world both to familiarize young people with these tools and to increase their communication with artificial intelligence."

The workshops, organized in separate sessions for children and adults, started with detailed information on the production of digital content through artificial intelligence.

Continuing the workshops, the participants learned how to write prompts, which is the equivalent of "input" in AI terms, and prepared original and special digital content for themselves and other participants by writing prompts.

YUNUS EMRE'S POEMS ARE BEING DIGITIZED

Learning to produce content with artificial intelligence, the participants examined sample digital content prepared from Yunus Emre's verses and then produced new digital content by transferring the sentences in Yunus Emre's verses to artificial intelligence.

NEXT STOP MADRID

The first technology stop of the workshop in Europe was Amsterdam and the next will be in Madrid. The Tanışkan Project workshops will meet technology enthusiasts in a wide range of regions from Europe to Asia.

Thanks to the advanced digital infrastructure of Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish digital content produced at the end of the workshops will be exhibited in the "Digital Cultural Center", which was prepared using modern technological facilities and is the first digital cultural center in Turkey.
