TÜRKSOY bestows Special Medal on Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş

The International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) has held the 25th Year Award Ceremony.

During the ceremony organized with a view to promoting the culture and art of the Turkic world at the Secretariat General of TÜRKSOY on Wednesday, December 26, the specially prepared medals were conferred on the winners. 

TÜRKSOY Secretary General Ambassador Düsen Kaseinov delivered a keynote speech during the ceremony, expressing gratitude for the culture ministers of the Member Countries who lent consistent support to the Organization's activities. "I would like thank everyone who has given us both financial and moral support to our activities during the last 25 years," he said.

Secretariat General Kaseinov presented medal to various politicians, bureaucrats and artists, and Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş was awarded with the TÜRKSOY 25th Year Medal for his valuable contributions to the organization's activities.

Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş stressed that it is one of the major duties of Yunus Emre Institute to engage in and lend support to TÜRKSOY's activities abroad. Ateş added that Secretary General Düsen Kaseinov continues to promote the culture and art of the Turkic world with his diplomatic experience and good management capabilities.
