Yunus Emre Enstitüsü attended International Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE) held between 17-19 February in Haliç Congress Center.

EURAS- Eurasia Union of Universities founder and chairman, and Istanbul Aydın University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Mustafa Aydın made the opening speech in the event. Vice Minister of National Education Orhan Erdem, YÖK Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. M. I. Safa Kapıcıoğlu and Chairman of Foreign Economic Relations Ömer Cihad Vardan also made speeches in the event.

Following the speeches, Philippines Minister of Higher Education Dr. Patricia B. Licuanan made a presentation on gender discrimination in education for the audience.

Event closed with the fashion show “Zeugma” featuring clothing designed by Istanbul Aydın University students and a “zeibek folk dance” performance.
