The "Yunus Emre Selection" published by Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) on the occasion of the 700^th anniversary of the death of Yunus Emre, one of the most important figures in Turkish language and culture, in order to make Yunus' voice heard around the world, was introduced in the Kazakhstan Assembly Library.

WORKS THAT ARE COMMON VALUES OF THE TURKIC WORLD WERE GIFTED

The Kazakhstan Assembly Library, which has been serving within the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1987 and has been restored and put into service again, was donated many works written in Turkish and Kazakh Turkish on the common values of ancient Turkish culture, especially the work titled "Yunus Emre Selection" by Astana Yunus Emre Institute.

The ceremony held on November 29, 2022 at the Kazakhstan Assembly was attended by Kazakh MPs Galimzhan Eleuov, Madi Ahmetov, Yeldos Abakanov, Head of the Department of Analysis and Education of the Kazakhstan Assembly Rauza Zhaishiyeva, and Astana Yunus Emre Institute Deputy Coordinator Dr. Almagül Isina.

Astana Yunus Emre Institute Deputy Coordinator Dr. Almagül Isina commented in her speech: "Our Institute presented to the renovated and reopened Assembly Library a large number of works, including the works of important figures of Turkish history and literature such as Ahmet Yesevi, Dede Korkut, Abay Kunanbayev, the poems of Kazakh poets published in Turkey in Turkish, the common sport of the Turkish nation, Kökpar, and various resources on the promotion of Turkey.

YUNUS EMRE INSTITUTE IS THE FIRST ORGANIZATION TO DONATE BOOKS

Deputy Coordinator Isina stated: "The information obtained from the authorities indicates that Astana Yunus Emre Institute was the first organization, apart from local institutions and organizations in Kazakhstan, to donate to the library operating within the body of the Parliament.

On the occasion of 2021 being recognized as the 'Year of Yunus Emre and Turkish', we provided the 'Yunus Emre Selection', which includes Yunus Emre's poems translated into Kazakh Turkish by the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, to Kazakhstan's prestigious libraries and universities."

YUNUS EMRE INSTITUTE PROVIDES BOOK SUPPORT TO INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN KAZAKHSTAN 

Astana Yunus Emre Institute donates Turkish language teaching sets and works written in Turkish to institutions and organizations serving throughout Kazakhstan.
