The opening reception of the "Be Mobile – Create Together!" project, hosted by Istanbul Culture and Art Foundation (İKSV), was held on June 25, 2019 in Istanbul with the attendance of the representatives of the leading residency programmes from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey.  

Undertaken as part of the Turkish-EU Intercultural Dialogue (ICD) programme, co-financed by the European Union and Turkey and conducted by Yunus Emre Institute, the "Be Mobile – Create Together!" project had received 600 applications for the residency programmes. The 15-member jury consisting of the representatives of the residency programmes and project partners who came to our country to evaluate the applicants, has cherry-picked 30 artists (15 from Turkey, and 15 from France, Germany and the Netherlands) as a result of its assessments.

Under the project implemented with support from the project's coordinator Ankara-based French Institute, and its partners Dutch Embassy, Goethe Institute and İKSV, the selected participating artists will stay in artist homes that focus on different disciplines in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey between 1 and 6 months starting from September.

The artists selected by the international jury will be announced on the website of the "Be Mobile – Create Together!" project in early July.
