Cultural Diversity Festival in Bucharest

Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute participated in the " Cultural Diversity Festival" organized by Bucharest Sector 5 Municipality with the support of the Prime Ministry of Romania.

TURKISH CUISINE AND TRADITIONAL HANDICRAFTS MET WITH THE PEOPLE OF BUCHAREST

Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute, which was invited as the guest of honor at the event where minorities living in Romania represented their own cultures, introduced Turkish culture. The Institute exhibited examples of Turkish cuisine and traditional handicrafts at its stand. In the marbling workshop organized as part of the event, children had the opportunity to experience the art of marbling.

Turkey was represented by the Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute at the festival held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, on November 12, 2022. The Institute participated as the guest of honor in the festival where minorities living in Romania represented their own cultures and promoted Turkey's rich cultural elements.

At its stand at the festival, Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute featured the unique flavors of Turkish cuisine and the exquisite works of traditional Turkish handicrafts. In the marbling workshop organized during the event, children had the opportunity to experience the art of marbling.

The festival was attended by nearly a thousand people, including many Romanian officials from local institutions and organizations, children, students and families. Various exhibitions, competitions and folk dance performances were featured.

Stating that they were proud to promote Turkey and Turkish culture in all events organized in Romania, Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Mustafa Yıldız stated: "Our stand is always the center of attention in every event organized in Romania. This motivates us greatly.”
