Descriptions of Turkey in the posts by the guests invited by Yunus Emre Institute under its "Be Our Guest" project have made into the agenda of China.

Since the beginning of the project which was launched one year ago as part of the Institute's cultural diplomacy activities, a number of prominent Chinese figures from diverse areas including artists, actors, actresses, directors, opinion leaders, social media representatives and press members were hosted in our country. The posts about the memories in Turkey by the Chinese who visited Turkey in six different delegations were covered extensively in the Chinese agenda.

Under the "Be Our Guest," a prominent project undertaken by the Yunus Emre Institute to promote the Turkish language, culture and history abroad, famous Chinese musician Xu Fei visited Turkey in the last delegation and a video she posted was watched by 70 million people.

The Institute hosts Chinese delegations consisting of representatives of social circles with broad public coverage under the "Be Our Guest" project in order to contribute to the promotion of Turkey. The importance of the project has intensified as the year 2018 was declared as "Turkey Tourism Year" in China and one of the aims of the project is to boost the number of Chinese tourists visiting our country. The project in question also serves to strengthen cooperation in the field of technology, communication and media between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Turkey.
