In collaboration with Sudan Turkey Alumni Association, Khartoum Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) conducted a promotional event for "Türkiye Scholarships," a program of Turks Abroad and Relative Communities (YTB).

Sudanese students, academics, and parents attended the program, which was held in the garden of Yunus Emre Institute in Khartoum.

"SUDAN, THE COUNTRY THAT ACCEPTS THE MOST STUDENTS ALL OVER THE WORLD"

Faruk Esen, Director of Khartoum Yunus Emre Institute, thanked the Turkish Alumni Association for their contributions during the program. He stated that roughly 140 Sudanese students travelled to Turkey last year to study on Türkiye scholarships. Noting that Sudan has the most students in the world, Esen stated his optimism that this number will increase even higher next year.

Sudan Turkey Alumni Association Foreign Relations Officer Ammar Muhammed Ali, an Uludağ University graduate, explained in detail how to apply for scholarships.

Abdulbaki Ömer, a Sakarya University graduate, and Salah İdris, a Kırıkkale University graduate, shared their educational experiences in Turkey.

The graduates answered the applicant students' queries and provided them with information about the issues they encountered throughout the application process.

"TURKEY ACCEPTS PEOPLE WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION FROM EVERY NATION"

Doctor Hüda Muhammed İbrahim remarked in his post-program statement that he applied for Türkiye Scholarships because Turkey offers a high-quality education system. "Turkey welcomes individuals of all nationalities without prejudice. I wish to enhance my career in Turkey and learn about other cultures," said Dr. İbrahim.

Menhel Mubarak, a student at Khartoum University's Faculty of Letters, said he applied for Türkiye Scholarships because he wanted to embrace a new lifestyle and meet new people.

Mubarak praised the Turkey Alumni Association's initiatives, saying, "After benefiting from Turkey's experience, I want to return to my country and relay the knowledge that I have gained."

Pharmacist Isamettin Bella Abdulkadir, on the other hand, stated that his son desired to study in Turkey and that they supported him in this regard because Turkey is ahead in the field of education.
