The screening of the documentary "Cyprus Inside Us", prepared by Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) in Lefkoşa, was held on March, 28 2024 in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

TRNC President Ersin Tatar, President of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre, Deputy Prime Minister Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Türkiye's Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu and many guests attended the screening and iftar program held in a hotel in the capital Lefkoşa.

The screening of the documentary "Cyprus Inside Us", which was prepared to explain the history, culture, life and sociology of the Turkish Cypriots, was held before the iftar.

Speaking after the screening, TRNC President Ersin Tatar praised Lefkoşa YEI office for its work and thanked Coordinator Abdullah Aktaş.

Stating that a federation-based solution in Cyprus aims to destroy the Turkish presence, Tatar stated that they will not allow any approach that wants Turkey to be excluded from the island.

Türkiye's Ambassador to Lefkoşa Feyzioğlu also underlined that Turkish Cypriots have always been a part of the great Turkish nation. Feyzioğlu emphasized that Turkish Cypriots are a noble community that has managed to preserve cultural values on the Island for a long time.
