Yunus Emre Institute launched the "Tanışkan Project" to help children and young people produce works of art using new technologies such as artificial intelligence and NFTs, and to create a multicultural global community in this field.

Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Şeref Ateş, Institute Experts, tech-savvy children, young people, parents and guests attended the launch program held at the Institute's service building in Istanbul on November 26, 2022.

The project enables new technologies such as AI and NFTs to create and tell new stories, while creating new opportunities for connections between the past and the future based on the values in ancient stories. This allows young people to express themselves through the space they create through new technologies such as artificial intelligence, create new stories, and put forward their creative ideas through art.

THE CONCEPT OF TRANSLATION COMES TOGETHER WITH POEMS AND VISUALS

The main purpose of the project is to combine digital products with concepts such as communication, understanding and translation by utilizing the universal values of important historical figures, especially Yunus Emre. One of the aims of the project is to address the concept of "translation" with a universality that will enable children to combine poetry and visuality. 

CHILDREN "GET ACQUAINTED" WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY

The project focuses on creating an environment of sharing where children can design gifts for each other in order to "get acquainted" with technology and with each other, to be creative, to experience an environment of sharing and to be a part of it. 

After the presentations and exercises in the workshop, a conceptual conversation was held where Yunus Emre's poems were visualized and personal avatars were created.

The program ended by uploading the avatars to the digital exhibition and distributing the complimentary accessories.
