Turkey Documentary on Senegalese State Television

A documentary on Turkey was broadcast on Senegalese State Television RTS. 

A team of six people from RTS went to Turkey in February for the documentary shot in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Dakar, Dakar Yunus Emre Institute, and SUMMA Holding.

The RTS team shot in Istanbul, Ankara, Safranbolu and Karabük. The team interviewed Turkish institutions that have representation in Dakar.

HISTORICAL BUILDINGS AND MOST IMPORTANT INSTITUTIONS OF TURKEY 

Within the scope of the documentary, Istanbul’s landmarks such as Spice Bazaar, Sultanahmet, Hagia Sofia, Çamlıca Mosque, Çamlıca Tower, as well as July 15 Democracy Museum, the Turkish Grand National Assembly, General Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Africa, TRT, Anadolu Agency, Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish Maarif Foundation, Karabük University, and Ankara Embassy of Senegal were visited.

The RTS team watched the final match between Egypt and Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations together with the Senegalese students at Karabük University and celebrated Senegal’s victory with the students.
