Turkish World Is In Tirana With Its All Colors

A “Concert of Turkish World With Its All Colors” was organized by the Yunus Emre Institute and International Turkish Cultural Organization (TURKSOY) under the auspices of the Turkish Embassy in Tirana.

The concert was held in Tirana, capital of Albania, on 30 March 2018. The Turkish President’s Chief Adviser Yalçın Topçu, Secretary General of the International Turkish Cultural Organization Prof. Dr. Dusen Kaseinov, President of the Yunus Emre Institute Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş, Turkish Ambassador in Tirana Murat Ahmet Yörük, Chairman of the Albanian-Turkish Friendship Group İlir Begaj, representatives of the diplomatic missions  and Turkish institutions in Tirana, deputies from the Albanian Parliament and many Albanians attended the concert.

The event, in which tens of artists from different countries participated, began with opening speeches by the Turkish President’s Chief Advisor Yalçın Topçu, Secretary General of TURKSOY Prof. Dr. Dusen Kaseinov and President of the Yunus Emre Institute Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş.

The Turkish President’s Chief Advisor Yalçın Topçu began his speech by greeting the audience on behalf the Turkish people and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and said: “you will see how the Turks brought with them security, peace, freedom, love and justice to the places where they migrated from Asia. In short, you will see one more time the Turkish civilization with the concert organized here.”  

The Riches of Our Common Culture

Secretary General of TURKSOY Prof. Dr. Dusen Kaseinov, for his part, noted that Nawruz celebrations were organized in five Balkan countries this year and the participant artists represented the colors of the Turkish world. “We will represent all the riches of our common culture with our artists” he added.  

The Peace Environment Needed by The World and Humanity

President of the Yunus Emre Institute Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş pointed in his speech to the universality of love in Yunus Emre’s philosophy and stated that this love embraced the whole universe.

Noting that Nawruz signified both spring and the love that is needed by the humanity, Prof. Ateş added that such events would be organized in different parts of the world in cooperation with TURKSOY within the context of Yunus Emre’s philosophy.

Artists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation offered the audience unforgettable memories with their extraordinary performances in the event where all the colors of the Turkish world were exhibited with fervor and magnificence. The Albanian art lovers who watched the event had an opportunity to have a firsthand knowledge about the traditions and clothes of the Turkish world.
