A glass painting workshop was organized by Dakar Yunus Emre Institute.

Türkiyes Ambassador to Dakar Nur Sağman, Institute Coordinator Merve Işık Efe and art lovers attended the workshop held at Dakar Yunus Emre Institute.

In the workshop, glass painting master Bakary Diakite gave the participants information about glass painting techniques and then painted glass with the participants.

Dakar Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Merve Işık Efe stated in her statement that the art of glass painting, known as "sous verre" in French, is one of the important cultural elements of Senegal.

Coordinator Efe stated that, as Dakar Yunus Emre Institute, they attach great importance to keeping the traditional arts of the country they are in alive, and stated that in this context, they decided to organize a workshop in which under-glass painting is done, which has an important place in Senegal.
