“Doors Open to Children” Event in Abuja

A very colorful event for children was held in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. More than fifty students between the ages of 7-17 studying at the International Al-Amin and International Sascon Schools and teachers serving in these schools attended the event for children called “Doors Open to Children” organized by Abuja Yunus Emre Institute on November 4, 2021.

The event started with the opening speech of Macit Koç, Director of Abuja Yunus Emre Institute. In his speech, Macit Koç gave information about the Abuja Yunus Emre Institute opened in September this year. In the event, students' questions about the Institute's activities and education in Turkey were also answered.

EMINE ERDOĞAN'S "MY TRAVEL TO AFRICA" PHOTO EXHIBITION

In the continuation of the program, the photography exhibition titled “My Travels to Africa” by Emine Erdoğan, opened on October 20, 2021, and the cultural center were shown to the little guests. Various drinks and desserts belonging to Turkish culinary culture were served. At the end of the event, Macit Koç stated to the little guests that the doors of Yunus Emre Institute are always open to everyone and that they will always support them in teaching Turkish and education in Turkey.
