“100th Anniversary Year Activities” Held in Varazdin and Rijeka
Yunus Emre Institute continues to organize activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye through its representatives all over the world.
Cultural events were organized in Varazdin and Rijeka cities of Croatia on 26-27 September 2023, in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Zagreb and Zagreb Yunus Emre Institute.
Pianist Tutu Aydınoğlu took the stage at “53rd Varazdin Baroque Evenings” held in Varazdin. Pianist Aydınoğlu presented a repertoire consisting of the works of Antonio Soler, one of the composers of the baroque period, to the audience.
At the concert held at Guvernerova Palace in the city of Rijeka, Pianist Tutu Aydınoğlu performed Cemal Reşit Rey’s piano suite called “Güneş Manzaraları” (Sun Landscapes).
Turkish Culture will Be Brought to All Corners of Croatia
Speaking at the event, Yavuz Selim Kıran, the Republic of Türkiye’s Ambassador to Zagreb, expressed his gratitude to Pianist Tutu Aydınoğlu for his magnificent performance and used the following expressions: “We will continue our activities without slowing down to promote Turkish culture and art in different parts of Croatia on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.”
The events held in different cities of Croatia attracted intense interest from Croatian music lovers.
