A workshop titled "Shkodra Hero Hasan Rıza Pasha and Türkiye-Albania Relations from Past to Present" was held in the city of Shkodra in northern Albania.

The event was organized by Shkodra Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) in cooperation with of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" University, Kastamonu University, Atatürk Higher Institution of Culture, Language and History, Turkish Historical Society and the Presidential State Archives of the Republic of Türkiye.

Representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Tirana, representatives of Turkish institutions and organizations in the country, researchers and students attended the event held at the "Luigj Gurakuqi" University campus in Shkodra.

Speaking at the workshop, Tirana YEI Coordinator Ömer Osman Demirbaş expressed his hope that the event would contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

At the opening, Head of the Presidential State Archives Uğur Ünal, President of the Turkish Historical Society Yüksel Özgen, and President of the Atatürk Supreme Institution of Culture, Language and History Ambassador Derya Örs also made speeches.

Before the workshop, a cooperation protocol was signed between "Luigj Gurakuqi" University and Kastamonu University.

Then, the workshop continued with the presentations of the participants.

On the other hand, a painting exhibition titled "Shkodra Hero Hasan Rıza Pasha and Türkiye-Albania Relations from Past to Present"  opened within the scope of the event.
