More than 3,000 Public Officials Learned Turkish in Bucharest

Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) has taught Turkish to more than 3 thousand senior public officials in Romania since March 2021.

Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute started the 8th semester online Turkish courses of the Teaching Turkish to Public Employees Project (KATÖP) carried out in Romania.

In the statement, it was stated that more than 3 thousand people have met Turkish and Turkish culture within the scope of the project so far.

Romanian diplomats, senior public officials, police, gendarmerie and other security personnel are learning Turkish in courses within the scope of the project, which started in March 2021 with the support of the Embassy of Turkey in Bucharest.

Through the courses and cultural events organized by the Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute, which has been operating in Romania since 2011, Turkish language, culture, art, and history have been introduced, and Turkish-Romanian friendship and cooperation have been developed in many fields within the framework of cultural diplomacy.
