Turkish World Nevruz Festival in TRNC

aNevruz, one of the important and colorful holidays of Turkish culture, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in TRNC this year, as in all parts of the world. "Turkish World Nevruz Festival", held in cooperation with Lefkoşa Yunus Emre Institute, Haydar Aliyev International Cultural Center and Final International University, hosted colorful events and cultural unity.

At the event held within the scope of Nevruz Festivals held at Lapta Haydar Aliyev International Cultural Center on March 27, 2024, Lefkoşa Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Abdullah Aktaş and Haydar Aliyev International Cultural Center Coordinator Orhan Hasanoğlu talked about the importance and unification of Nevruz in the Turkish world.

The festival included traditional music concerts and dance shows. Artists from Azerbaijan, Turkey and TRNC created a colorful atmosphere by bringing their rich music and dance cultures to the audience. State Artist Gülyaz Mammadova from Azerbaijan, Turkish Folk Music Artist Ozan Sezer Aslan from Türkiye, Akın Zabıt and Nilay Pınardan from TRNC are among the artists who performed at the festival.

The Festival Enabled the Joy Of Nevruz and Cultural Exchange

Turkish World Nevruz Festival allowed people from all age groups to come together and experience the joy of Nevruz and cultural exchange. At the festival, the cultural diversity and richness of the Turkish world was emphasized and the feelings of brotherhood and solidarity were reinforced. Everyone who attended the event had a day filled with the fruitful and hopeful messages of Nevruz. The event ended with the hope of coming together with similar events in next year's Newroz and with the hope that cultural diversity and the sense of unity will be further strengthened.
