The World Listens to the Voice of Turkish

Yunus Emre Institute both teaches Turkish and brings Turkish culture to millions of homes in all corners of the world through the "Voice of Turkish Radio" it launched.

Foreigners living in different geographies of the world and interested in Turkish get to know Türkiye and Turkish culture closely by listening to "Voice of Turkish Radio".

The Institute continues to appeal to a large number of people with the rich program content on "Voice of Turkish Radio", which it started broadcasting over the internet within the scope of its mission of introducing Türkiye's unique cultural elements and teaching Turkish.

Germany, Romania and Australia Ranked First

Germany, Romania, Australia, Serbia and France ranked first among the countries where radio was listened to the most in 2024. The programs that were followed with great interest were "Our Proverbs with Karagöz and Hacivat", "One Word, One Song" and "Useful Information with Keloğlan and Aykız".

Voice of Turkish Radio continues its broadcasting life with nearly 40 programs including "Doors of the World" (Dünyanın Kağıları), which includes foreigners' impressions of Türkiye, "Take Care" (Sağlıcakla), which contains important information about protecting health, "Genius and Architecture" (Deha ve Mimari), about Mimar Sinan, who embroiders the symbols of Turkish civilization", "Poem Hours” (Şiir Saati) which contains the most special works of Turkish poetry.

The radio also includes many programs that introduce Turkish culture and are specially prepared for all levels of Turkish language learners, from beginners to advanced levels.

Voice of Turkish Radio has updated its program contents in 2024 and prepared a flow that will be enjoyable to listen to. In the new broadcast period, as it has for 9 years, the radio will appeal to its listeners with a more dynamic broadcast flow, with its brand new programs, rich content and exclusive music.
